  • Vivian Bejerman

    -Vivian currently works at Dawson College in Montreal in the Student Accounts/Registrar's office. She lives in Snowdon, in a really gorgeous, old, deep apartment.  She used to work with my mum at the Canadian Jewish Congress in the accounting department for four years. She has a B.Sc. in Psychology and a graduate diploma in Arts Administration. I think her dream is to open up a daycare where parents can drop off their children and pets. Vivian lives in Montreal with her boyfriend Adam in the Snowdon neighbourhood.
  • Wendy Furtenbacher

    -Wendy works for the Ontario Pharmacist's Association as a membership coordinator. She just finished a contract at the Kidney Foundation of Canada.  Known to all as a Marketing and Media Relations Guru, Fundraising connoisseur, and gourmet chef. An expert in cheese, olive oil, and gourmet dishes galore, we explore the many neighbourhoods of Toronto and hang out at Tim Hortons or Starbucks/Second Cup. Wendy lives in Toronto on the Danforth and spends a lot of time with her boyfriend Brandon in Bloor West Village. They enjoy dining in Ronscy Village and in Bloor West Village.

    -world famous pianist, feisty, blunt, talkative, expert nose-flicker, coffee junkie, is in her second year at Concordia University this fall.  We jump from cafe to cafe when I come to visit Montreal. I miss her a lot. Jana lives in downtown Montreal in a cool house right on the edge of Mount Royal
  • Aaron Boros
    Aaron is a very good friend of mine. We meet for brunch and roam the city for cool places to eat and talk....We also like to try out different brunch and dinner restaurants and go to deep, artsy movies. Aaron lives in Toronto in the Annex and will move to his brand new house in Little Portugal come late fall.   • Paulo Pereira
    Paulo is an IT Manager at TD Securities in Toronto. He manages a group of programmers in the Technology Solutions Division of TD Securities (I think!) Paulo is a good friend. He is a committed friend, who is practical, sensible, responsible, and a loyal. Paulo lives in the Yonge/Davisville neighbourhood with his monster "horse" cats Dolce and Gabbanna. We were roomates from July 2003-October 2004 (DID NOT work out!).

  • Steven and Debbie Bergson

    -Steve is a librarian at the Jewish Public Library in Toronto, and Debbie works for her mum's daycare.  They are both Degrassi fans and we get together and go out for dinner and watch the original and new Degrassi together....Steve and Debbie live near Bayview Village.

    -Daniel is a Librarian at OCAD and is the head of Reference and Access Services (Circulation). We've been friends since Library school (1999-2000).

  • Justine Apple
    Justine and I have been friends since Jan 2004 when i first met her at a Jewish group i am a member of. She is an elementary school teacher in the York Region (city of Maple), a wonderful friend, and talented composer, singer, piano player, and artist, and a great friend.

  • Einat Razin
    Fellow Degrassi fan in Ramat-Aviv, Israel (near Tel aviv). We finally met in June 2001 in Israel and she came for a visit in Toronto for one week in 2001 and 2002.

  • Tammy Moorse
    -works at UTM (University of Toronto in Mississauga) as a Librarian. We used to live in the same neighbourhood (near Humber River/Humber Valley) We meet for coffee and dinner about once per month.  We also went to Library school together

  • Elizabeth C Palov (Lisa)
    -My oldest friend, since grade 1.  We share so much history, so much joy and pain through the years.  We do not see each other very much but we still have a strong connection.  I miss Lisa a lot.  She lives in Mascouche with her new husband.

  • Kinga Breining-Kiss
    I met Kinga through a very good friend of mine, Vivian in September 1994.. Kinga is now married to Peter Kiss and expecting her first child this summer. They lived in Hungary for the summer (2002) and then off to Charlottetown, PEI from August 2002-May 2003. They just came back to Canada after 2 year stay in Budapest, Hungary where she met Peter and married him. When Kinga and Peter arrived in Canada, they came to Toronto to stay with us for a couple of days. They have been living in Montreal since May 2003. Kinga and Peter recently brought home their new baby son, Balazs, who is now almost 2 years old

  • Sandi Burgess-Loponen
    -works as a Librarian at the Burlington Public Library. She just finished working (for the past two years) at Infomart as a Librarian.  We meet for dinner occasionally and we also went to Library school together.

  • Joel and Walter
    Joel and Walter are really good friends of mine. I met them through a Jewish group i am a member of.

  • Christy Branston and Dan Sich
    Christy and Dan are friends of mine. They both work at the University of Waterloo and I worked with Christy while I was there (2003-2004) and (2005-2006) at the Dana Porter Library. We became good friends the second time i came back to work at U Waterloo Library. I became friends with Dan because i used to sleep over at his house once per week (I commuted every day from Toronto to Waterloo for 2 years). I left U. Waterloo Library System in Feb of 2006 and we all used to hang out but who would have thought they would get together and become a couple.
